1. Challenging on muscles, SOFT on joints. The small, super-controlled movements we perform in barre class reduce pressure on your joints, tendons, ligaments and spine. However, this is Low Impact at its most CHALLENGING! By doing barre regularly, you'll be standing taller with a tighter core, looking more toned....while minimizing the risk of injuries.

2. No Dance Experience Needed! Everyone has different strengths, challenges, backgrounds and I recognize that. Remember, this is not a ballet class, it's BARRE FITNESS and rest assured that you will be guided through the movements in a safe and fun way. And, each person works at their own level... Your effort and progress is YOURS alone, don't worry about comparing to the person next to you!

4. Work muscles to failure. Barre's tiny motions, many reps, intentional squeezes and pulses (otherwise known as isometric moves) are DESIGNED to fatigue muscles to failure. 5. Increased flexibility. Through focused stretching, you will build improved ROM, or Range of Motion. Some people are FLEXIBLE but not strong, or STRONG yet not flexible.
